Description
The Ubiquiti airMAX NanoStation M5 (NSM5) is a compact and reliable 5 GHz outdoor wireless CPE designed for long-range wireless networking, point-to-point (PtP) links and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) deployments. It combines an integrated dual-polarity antenna with 2×2 MIMO technology and Ubiquiti airMAX protocol to provide stable and efficient wireless connectivity in outdoor environments.
The NanoStation M5 features an integrated 14.6–16.1 dBi directional antenna, helping provide focused wireless coverage for outdoor links. Its compact design makes it suitable for connecting buildings, extending networks between locations and providing wireless connectivity where running network cables is difficult.
The device includes two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports and supports passive PoE, allowing both power and network connectivity to be delivered through Ethernet. Its UV-stabilized outdoor enclosure and wide operating temperature range make it suitable for installations in demanding outdoor conditions.
