Description
The MINI-GBIC-SX-MM850 provides reliable short-distance fiber connectivity between compatible switches, routers, servers and network devices. It uses the standard SFP form factor and is designed for Gigabit Ethernet networks using multimode fiber.
Operating at 850nm, the module supports a maximum link distance of 550m over multimode fiber under the applicable fiber conditions. It uses a Duplex LC connector and supports digital optical monitoring for diagnostics.
The module is hot-pluggable and complies with relevant IEEE and SFP Multi-Source Agreement standards, making it suitable for campus networks, data centers and other Gigabit fiber deployments.
