Description

The Grandstream GWN7605LR Long-Range Wi-Fi Access Point is designed to provide reliable wireless connectivity across large indoor and outdoor areas. Its long-range design makes it suitable for applications where standard indoor access points cannot provide sufficient coverage.

The GWN7605LR supports dual-band IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi with 2×2:2 MIMO on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. It provides up to 300Mbps on 2.4GHz and 867Mbps on 5GHz, delivering an aggregate wireless throughput of up to 1.27Gbps.

With a coverage range of up to 250 meters in suitable open conditions and support for 100+ concurrent Wi-Fi clients, the access point is well suited for warehouses, campuses, outdoor areas, hotels, restaurants, shops, offices and other low-to-medium density deployments.

The device features two autosensing Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports IEEE 802.3af/802.3at PoE/PoE+, allowing network connectivity and power to be delivered through Ethernet cabling.

Its IP66-level weatherproof enclosure, combined with an operating temperature range of -30°C to 70°C, makes it suitable for demanding outdoor installations when properly mounted. The two detachable external antennas can also be changed for different deployment requirements.

For network management, the GWN7605LR includes an embedded controller capable of managing up to 50 local GWN access points. It can also be managed through Grandstream’s cloud and on-premise management platforms.
